Marriage Notices from the Philadelphia Saturday Evening Post A MEMBER of the Onondaga County Historical Association of Syracuse, New York, Mrs. Lester F. Myers, has sent to your Editor a number of clippings of marriage and death notices from the old Philadelphia Saturday Evening Post. Mrs. Myers reports that the Association receives old copies of newspapers from the Library of Congress, most of which are of the New York Tribune. However, among the last received by the Association were issues of the Post for 1842, 1845, 1847 and 18 59, which she felt might be of interest to readers of this Magazine.
