Nurnberg: In the book selling house of John Andrea Endterischen Anno 1 7 is.” The Bible was in the possession of Gideon Hoch, Manatawny, Berks County, when it was translated and transcribed [date unknown). (These children, their grandmother is deceased in the year 1728.) 1748, the 8th January, the children's grandfather Rudolph Hoch died. 176.3, the 22nd February, the children’s mother Susanna Hoch died in the 65th year of her age. 1763, the 1 1th March, the children's brother Johannes Hoch died in the 30th year of his age. 1766, the 2 1st of November the children’s sister Esther Hochin died in the 24 th year of her age. 1777, the 1 1th July, the children's father John Hoch died in the 77th year of his age. |from a slip of paper] The contributor ( 1897-1989) was a (ISP volunteer from Reading, Berks County. The Bible itself was in German, as were the earliest entries, which she translated. Later entries were written in English, which she transcribed. Susana Hoch is born the 12th April 1811. 18.36, the 14th December, the above children's mother Susanna Hoch died, her age was 64 years, 6 months, and 1 5 days. 18.38, the 30th November, the above children's father died, his age 67 years, 2 months, 26 days. 1865, the 2.3rd September, Gideon I loch died, a son of the second Abraham. 1 1 is age was 68 years, 1 1 months, and i days. 1881, the 1 2th October, Susanna Hoch died. 1771 Thursday, 5th September, morning at half past seven is my son Abraham born to the world. 1774 Saturday, the 30th April, about half past eight is my daughter Susana Hoch born to the world. 1789 Midweek (Wednesday) 1 5th April, in the evening is my daughter F.sther Hoch born to the world. 1 824, the 2 1 st February, the above children’s mother died, by name Susanna, born a Weiser. Her age 73 years, 1 I months, and 9 days. 1826, the till March, the above children's father Abraham Hoch died. His age was 80 years, 5 months, and 29 days. This is the generations of Abraham Hoch, a son of John Hoch. This book belongs to Esther Hochin in Oily.
