Description
Rev. Power was the first ordained Presbyterian minister permanently located west of the Allegheny Mountains, arriving in 1776 with his wife Mary.

He was pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Mt. Pleasant, PA for about 50 years, settling there in 1781.
